The suspect, referred to by law enforcement as 'Mama,' is alleged to have impersonated an elderly woman resembling the character from the television series 'Mama’s Family' to attempt unauthorized withdrawals from bank accounts. The most recent reported incident occurred on Wednesday at Oklahoma Capital Bank in Skiatook. According to police reports, the suspect wore distinctive attire including large clothing, oversized glasses, and a wig consistent with previous descriptions. During the Skiatook incident, the individual attempted to withdraw funds from another person's account using fake identification but fled the scene before any money was disbursed. This follows a similar case investigated last week at First Bank of Owasso, where the suspect employed the same disguise and method of fraud. Authorities note that the individual has reportedly frequented banks in numerous cities and towns throughout Oklahoma and may have made appearances in other states as well. The Owasso Police Department is urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
