Baltimore City police have identified Christian Hurley as the suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Jada Sellers. Authorities are urging the public to assist in locating Hurley, who is considered armed and dangerous. The incident occurred on July 31 in the Edgewood community of Southwest Baltimore, specifically on Lyndhurst Street near Gelston Drive. At the time of the shooting, Sellers was hospitalized with her injuries; she tragically passed away two weeks later from those injuries. Sellers was a senior student-athlete at Milford Mill Academy. The community has expressed profound grief over the loss, with local leaders calling for increased protection for youth in the area. Investigators are currently working to determine the motive behind the killing. To aid in the apprehension of the suspect, a combined reward of $11,500 has been offered for information leading to Hurley's whereabouts.
