The incident took place on the morning of Thursday, August 20, 2026, just before 4:30 a.m. at a 7-Eleven store located at 246-15 Northern Boulevard. According to police reports, the suspect entered the establishment wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a white facemask, black pants, and a black T-shirt with white lettering over a red and white graphic. The individual, whose gender has not yet been determined but is described as having a light complexion and shoulder-length black hair, allegedly brandished a firearm at a 28-year-old male employee working behind the counter. Under duress, the employee handed over $100 from the cash register. Following the robbery, the suspect fled the scene on an e-bike, traveling eastbound on Northern Boulevard toward Marathon Parkway. No injuries were reported during the incident.
