Fullerton police are searching for a suspect who remains at large following a violent assault that left a man hospitalized. The incident occurred on Sunday morning at approximately 10:39 a.m. at the Orange County Transportation Authority Park & Ride lot, located at 3000 W. Orangethorpe Ave., near the intersection of the Golden State (5) and 91 freeways. According to the Fullerton Police Department, officers responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. The victim was stabbed with a sharp object, believed to be a knife, and was initially reported to be in critical condition. As of Sunday afternoon, the victim remained hospitalized, though specific details regarding his current status were not immediately released. Fullerton Police spokesperson Kristy Wells confirmed to City News Service that the attacker has not been apprehended and is still being sought by investigators.
