Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is asking the public to help identify a suspect linked to a robbery in Lynwood. The incident occurred on April 27 when a woman, identified as Vicki, was robbed in her front yard on Agnes Avenue. The suspect, described as a 16- to 18-year-old boy or young man standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 160 pounds, allegedly pushed her and stole a family heirloom necklace. Investigators report the suspect fled the scene in a possible white Buick Encore SUV. Ring camera footage from a neighbor captured the suspect near the victim’s home shortly after the attack. Authorities note the suspect typically wears a mask during similar robberies in the area. The Century Station is leading the investigation and urges residents to remain vigilant if wearing noticeable jewelry. Anyone with information is asked to contact Century Station Detectives at 323-568-4937 or L.A. Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
