A Lynwood, California, woman is speaking out after a suspect ripped a custom gold necklace from her while she mowed her lawn on April 27. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports the incident occurred around 5 p.m. on the 4000 block of Agnes Avenue. The suspect, described as 16-18 years old with dreadlocked hair and wearing all black clothing, pushed the victim and fled in a white SUV—possibly a Buick Encore. The victim, who requested anonymity, said the necklace was handmade 15 years ago and expressed frustration that the suspect remains at large. Neighbors have reported seeing the individual in the area. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact detectives at (323) 568-4937. The suspect has not been arrested, and the investigation remains active.
