The incidents occurred on August 5, 2026, with the thefts taking place at approximately 11 a.m. and again around 12:45 p.m. The building is situated between Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard and Treat Place in Newark. Authorities have released an image of the suspect in hopes that someone in the community will recognize the individual and assist investigators in their ongoing inquiry. The suspect remains at large, and police are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity to come forward.
