Houston police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man accused of committing an aggravated robbery and shooting outside a residence in the Third Ward neighborhood. The incident occurred last Friday around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Eagle Street and Live Oak Street. According to investigators, the suspect approached a woman who was waiting in her vehicle outside her boyfriend’s home. The man allegedly attempted to speak with the woman before she noticed he was armed with a firearm. He then demanded her vehicle keys. When the woman stated she did not have them, the suspect threatened to shoot her if she moved. The woman reportedly attempted to reach for mace while the suspect was distracted. In response, the suspect allegedly took her watch, forced her out of the vehicle, shot her, and struck her in the head several times with the firearm before fleeing the scene with her belongings. Authorities have released a sketch of the suspect, describing him as a light-skinned Black man, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and dark shorts and is noted to have tattoos on the back of his legs. The suspect remains at large.
