The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Jeremy Park Bullard, a 55-year-old man from Pembroke, North Carolina, who is currently at large and considered armed and dangerous. Bullard is wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 65-year-old William Eugene Bullard of Rowland. Authorities have obtained warrants charging Jeremy Park Bullard with first-degree murder, discharging a firearm within an enclosure to incite fear, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at approximately 4:48 p.m. Deputies responded to the 400 block of Oxendine Road, located just west of Pembroke, after receiving reports of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, deputies found the victim, who was subsequently pronounced deceased. The body was transported to the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office for identification and to determine the cause of death. The Medical Examiner confirmed that William Eugene Bullard was the deceased individual. Law enforcement officials have stated that the suspect and the victim are not related. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jeremy Park Bullard to come forward.
