The Atlanta Police Department is actively searching for an individual wanted in connection with an auto theft that occurred in southeast Atlanta. The incident took place on Friday in the 700 block of Hank Aaron Drive SE, specifically within a parking deck located in that area. According to police reports, the suspect allegedly entered the property through a side door and proceeded to the fourth floor of the structure. Surveillance footage captured the individual moving through the deck and checking the door handles of several parked vehicles before successfully gaining access to a black 2014 BMW X5. The vehicle, which bears the Georgia license plate 1BLKMAN, was then driven away from the scene. At this time, authorities have not released a physical description of the suspect, nor have they identified the individual by name. Investigators have also not confirmed whether the stolen BMW has been recovered. The method by which the suspect entered the vehicle and started the engine remains unclear.
