Authorities are actively searching for two men suspected of committing violent robberies aboard the N train in Brooklyn, New York. The incidents occurred on Thursday, August 6, 2026, around 4:30 a.m., as the train approached the 53rd Street subway station in the Sunset Park neighborhood. Police report that the two suspects targeted two 19-year-old victims. According to the NYPD, the suspects first approached one victim, threatened him, and punched him multiple times in the face before forcibly taking his property. The first victim was transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn by Emergencies Medical Services and is reported to be in stable condition. The second victim was not injured. The suspects then approached the second victim, threatened him, and forcibly removed his cell phone from his hand before fleeing the scene. The first suspect was last seen wearing a white shirt, dark-colored pants, black sneakers, and carrying a bookbag. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.
