According to police reports, the victim alleged that Acosta-Gonzalez improperly massaged her on two separate occasions, constituting inappropriate physical contact. The investigation was initiated following a referral from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. An arrest warrant was filed on August 21, but investigators have been unable to locate the suspect since. Authorities believe Acosta-Gonzalez may have fled Illinois, prompting a widespread manhunt. Police have expressed concern that the suspect may have acted inappropriately toward other underage athletes, as witness statements have raised additional red flags regarding his conduct.
