The Westfield Police Department is actively searching for two suspects, Markeyzus Dean and Tyanna Bonds, who remain at large following a violent domestic disturbance incident that occurred on Friday morning. The investigation began around 3:41 a.m. when officers responded to the Casey Acres Apartments in Westfield, Indiana, after reports indicated a 16-year-old girl had been battered with a blunt object. The victim sustained significant injuries to her head and face and was subsequently hospitalized. According to police, the mother of the victim confronted one of the suspects during the altercation. The suspect allegedly brandished a firearm, prompting the mother to retreat to her apartment and contact law enforcement. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a male resident had an outstanding felony warrant for gun charges issued by Marion County. Police attempted to gain entry to the apartment but received no response. Due to concerns that a female inside the unit might be armed, officers established a perimeter and requested assistance from the Noblesville/Westfield Emergency Services Unit. The ESU team entered the premises but found no individuals present. Investigators noted an open second-floor window with a torn screen, leading them to believe that both suspects fled the scene before the perimeter was fully established.
