A high-speed pursuit involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) concluded in a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Houston on Saturday morning, leaving one suspect at large and several individuals injured. The incident began around 6:30 a.m. when authorities in Montgomery County reported a chase on Interstate 45 heading toward Houston. The pursuit intensified as the suspect vehicle entered Harris County, culminating in a collision near the intersection of Fallbrook Drive and Veterans Memorial Drive at approximately 6:40 a.m. During the chase, the suspect’s vehicle struck another car, causing the second vehicle to flip. The occupants of the flipped vehicle sustained minor injuries. Additionally, an ICE agent was injured during the pursuit after attempting to break the driver-side window of the suspect's vehicle at an earlier location, resulting in a cut arm. Following the crash, the suspect abandoned the vehicle and fled into nearby woods. Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies deployed a K9 unit to track the individual, but the scent was eventually lost. A passenger in the suspect's vehicle initially refused medical treatment at the scene but later transported themselves to a hospital. Authorities confirmed that the suspect is wanted by ICE due to a final removal order. The suspect’s identity has not been released to the public. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office continues to assist ICE with the manhunt. Officials have not yet provided a timeline for when the suspect might be apprehended.
