The investigation stems from an incident reported on July 20, 2026, in which a 91-year-old female victim reported being defrauded and robbed. According to police reports, the suspect allegedly befriended the elderly victim, thereby gaining unauthorized access to her checking accounts. Through this access, Banks is accused of stealing more than $35,000 from the victim's finances. In addition to the financial loss, the suspect is also wanted for the theft of the victim's 2012 Honda Fit, which bears Louisiana license plate number H509909.
