The suspects forcibly took two gold chains from one victim's neck and demanded a silver diamond watch before fleeing westbound on Sansom Street. This crime is linked to a similar robbery that occurred less than a week earlier on August 23, 2026, around 3 a.m. on the 1500 block of Locust Street. In that incident, three masked men exited a gray Honda Accord and confronted three individuals. Two of the suspects were armed with handguns, and a third carried what appeared to be an AR-15 style rifle. The suspects ordered the victims to the ground, pistol-whipped one victim in the face, and stole various items including cellphones, watches, wallets, and cash before fleeing eastbound on Locust Street. Investigators believe the two incidents are connected and are urging the public to assist in identifying the suspects.
