Authorities in Laurinburg, North Carolina, are searching for Michael Anthony Robinson Jr., 36, of Wagram, following a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at the Xplicit Sports Bar and Grill located on McColl Road. The incident resulted in the death of 46-year-old Ricky Swindell, who was discovered inside the establishment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Swindell was transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Laurinburg Police Department officers responded to the scene and have since obtained a first-degree murder warrant for Robinson. In addition to the murder charge, Robinson is accused of discharging a firearm within an enclosure to incite fear, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and going armed to the terror of the public. Investigators have not yet released details regarding the motive behind the shooting or whether the victim and the suspect knew each other. The investigation is currently ongoing as police seek to apprehend Robinson.
