Baltimore Police have officially identified 24-year-old Dashawn Taylor as the suspect wanted in connection with a deadly double shooting that occurred in north Baltimore. The incident took place on the evening of June 23, 2026, at approximately 10:50 p.m., at a convenience store located at 5211 York Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims: one shot in the driver’s seat of a vehicle and another on the ground. The victim in the car, identified as 38-year-old Asia Williams, was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The second victim, a 27-year-old man, survived his injuries. Following the shooting, police released surveillance footage capturing the armed suspect, and they have now confirmed the individual’s identity as Taylor. Authorities have issued a warning that Taylor should be considered armed and dangerous. As of this report, Taylor remains at large and has not been arrested. The investigating agency, Baltimore Police, has not yet disclosed the specific motive behind the shooting or whether either victim was the intended target.
