Shane Gordon, 30, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, remains at large as the alleged mastermind of a violent home invasion that occurred in Milford in January 2022. Despite being sentenced in absentia to 23 years in prison on September 2, 2026, Gordon has not been seen since his trial in May. He waived his right to be present for sentencing by failing to appear in Milford Superior Court alongside his attorney, William Gerace. The Connecticut State Police and local authorities continue to search for Gordon, who is wanted on multiple charges including home invasion, first-degree robbery, first-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, first-degree larceny, theft of a firearm, and various conspiracy charges. Jurors convicted Gordon of all nine counts after he failed to appear for jury deliberations and the verdict. The incident involved Gordon and an accomplice approaching a victim's home on Naugatuck Avenue while dressed as Amazon delivery drivers. Upon entering the home, they forced their way inside, beating and pistol-whipping the victim, binding him with duct tape, and ransacking the residence. Security camera footage captured the victim screaming for help as he escaped. The suspects stole over $50,000 worth of jewelry and watches. Prosecutors emphasized the premeditated nature of the crime, noting that a gun was placed at the victim's head and dry-fired to induce terror. While Gordon remains on the run, two accomplices have already been sentenced: Jahsim Trotman received ten years in prison, and Dominique Jackson received a one-year sentence. A third suspect, Theodore Jordan, accused of being the getaway driver, is still pending. If Gordon is apprehended, he will be arrested for failure to appear and immediately begin serving his sentence.
