Cloquet Police are actively searching for an unidentified suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday night. The incident took place at the Broadway Korner Store, located at 401 Broadway Street in Cloquet, Minnesota. Officers responded to the scene around 8:45 p.m. and established a perimeter around the area where the suspect was last seen fleeing on foot. Although the suspect has been identified by law enforcement, no arrest has been made as of the latest report. The search operation involved a significant multi-agency response. Cloquet Police and Fond du Lac Police worked alongside Carlton County Sheriff Drone teams and K9 units to locate the individual. State Patrol troopers and St. Louis County Sheriff Deputies also assisted in the extensive search efforts. Investigators have located several items believed to be connected to the robbery. An investigation led officers to a nearby residence, where a search warrant was issued. While additional evidence was collected at that location, the firearm used during the robbery has not been recovered. Authorities are urging residents in the area to assist with the manhunt by checking home security systems and doorbell cameras. Residents are also asked to check garbage cans and dumpsters, as items related to the crime may have been hidden or discarded in these locations.
