The incident occurred on the morning of August 29, 2026, at approximately 9:50 a.m. Troopers responded to the WSFS Bank, located on Coastal Highway, following reports of a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, investigators learned that an individual had entered the bank and handed a demand note to an employee. The employee complied with the suspect's demands, and the individual subsequently fled the scene on foot. Authorities confirmed that an undisclosed amount of cash was taken during the incident. Police have stated that no weapon was involved in the robbery and that no injuries were reported to any bank staff or patrons. Detectives have identified Frith-Thompson, a resident of Milford, as the primary suspect and have obtained an arrest warrant. The Delaware State Police are urging the public to assist in locating him. Initially, officers described the suspect as a thin Black male in his twenties who was dressed in tight clothing and wearing a wig, appearing to present as female.
