According to police reports, the incident occurred in the Fort Myers area, specifically near the intersection of Polk Street and Lora Street. Investigators state that the suspect was observed repeatedly walking around this vicinity before entering the parking lot of a business located at Redbones. Upon entering the lot, the individual entered an unlocked vehicle that had its engine running and subsequently drove away. The stolen vehicle was later recovered by the Collier County Sheriff's Office in Immokalee, Florida. The suspect is described as a Black man who was wearing a white Puma T-shirt and light blue jeans at the time of the offense. Authorities have released images of the individual and are urging anyone who recognizes him to come forward.
