Delaware State Police are actively searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery that occurred on August 29. The incident took place at approximately 9:50 a.m. at the WSFS bank located at 19335 Coastal Highway, near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. According to law enforcement, the suspect is a thin black man in his 20s who entered the bank dressed in tight-fitting women's clothing and a wig. Upon entering, the individual handed a demand note to a bank employee. The employee complied with the suspect's demands, and the man subsequently fled the scene on foot, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police have confirmed that no weapon was involved during the robbery and that no individuals were injured. The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is currently leading the investigation into the matter. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and to come forward with any information that could assist in identifying or locating the suspect.
