The Harris County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in north Houston on Friday night. The incident took place around 11:55 p.m. in the 500 block of Gulf Bank Road, an area located near a set of horse stables. Deputies responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting involving a person in danger. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified Hispanic man, believed to be approximately 30 years old, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of deputies who performed life-saving measures until emergency medical services arrived, the victim was pronounced dead. According to witness statements provided to investigators, the victim had been involved in a verbal argument with another individual prior to the shooting. Following the discharge of several shots, the suspect fled the scene, running north from the property. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, estimated to be around 40 years of age. He is reported to be between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall with an average build. At the time of the incident, he was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are currently managing the case. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity or location to come forward.
