Anchorage police are searching for a suspect who remains at large following a fatal hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of 25-year-old Miguel Pagan. The collision occurred late Friday night, approximately at 9:15 p.m., in the Government Hill neighborhood of Anchorage. Pagan was riding his motorcycle on North Post Road between Sitka and Wrangell streets when he was struck by a Jeep Cherokee. According to the Anchorage Police Department, the driver of the Jeep fled the scene in a different vehicle, leaving Pagan to die at the scene. As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made in connection with the crash. Police have withheld specific details regarding the circumstances of the collision and potential suspect descriptions, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation. In response to the tragedy, the local motorcycling community organized a memorial ride on Monday afternoon, traveling from Anchorage to Girdwood to honor Pagan.
