The Brookfield Police Department is actively seeking information regarding two suspects involved in a high-speed vehicle pursuit that occurred on Sunday, August 23. The incident began at approximately 7:45 p.m. when officers initiated a traffic stop. The driver, described as a Black male in his late 20s, fled the scene in a black Chrysler Sebring bearing a dealer placard for Car Castle on the rear. The vehicle was unregistered. A passenger, identified as an older Black male in his 50s wearing a Milwaukee Bucks flat-brim hat, was also in the car. The pursuit continued southbound on 124th Street and entered the Collections Shopping Center in Wauwatosa. Authorities terminated the chase due to safety concerns, allowing the suspect vehicle to escape. Police note that the vehicle has recently been seen frequenting the northeast side of Milwaukee. The suspects remain at large. Investigators are urging the public to review their dashcam footage or personal recordings for any clues.
