The Federal Bureau of Investigation has increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of Ronald Watson, who is wanted in connection with a significant arson attack on a federal building in Atlanta, Georgia. Watson, who is considered armed and dangerous, is also known by the aliases Sarah Watson, Miranda Kyle, and Emily Smith. The FBI has raised the reward from $10,000 to $20,000 for tips that result in his capture. The suspect is linked to an incident that occurred shortly before midnight on July 25, 2020, when a group of protesters, wearing masks and dark clothing, breached the perimeter of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in Downtown Atlanta. During the attack, the group vandalized the property, throwing rocks, Molotov cocktails, and cinder blocks, which caused more than $78,000 in damage. Watson was identified as a suspected participant in the vandalism based on evidence from a prior conviction in Oregon, where he was found guilty in January 2023 of assaulting a public safety officer. Authorities noted that Watson’s social media history included anti-ICE posts, including graphic imagery. An arrest warrant for Watson was issued in July 2025, and he is currently charged with damage to federal property. Officials warn that Watson has ties to multiple states, including Atlanta, Wyoming, Washington, California, Montana, and Portland, Oregon. Due to the passage of time and potential changes in appearance, authorities suspect he may have altered his look and could be wearing women’s clothing. The FBI is urging the public to come forward with any information that could assist in locating and arresting Watson. This remains an active investigation, and law enforcement continues to seek the public's assistance in identifying and apprehending the suspect.
