FBI Atlanta officials have announced an increased reward for Ronald Watson, a man currently at large and wanted in connection with a violent attack on the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in downtown Atlanta. The incident occurred in 2020, but Watson remains a fugitive. The reward for information leading to his arrest has been raised to $20,000. According to the FBI, Watson has known ties to both Portland, Oregon, and Atlanta, Georgia. Investigators also note that he may frequent other states, including Montana, Wyoming, Washington, and California. Authorities warn that Watson may have altered his appearance and could potentially be dressing in women’s clothing to evade capture. During the 2020 incident, Watson and others allegedly breached the building's fences and caused significant damage exceeding $78,000 using Molotov cocktails, rocks, cinder blocks, and other materials. Prior to the attack, Watson had posted anti-ICE messages on social media, including a depiction of an ICE agent being struck with a baseball bat. In 2025, FBI officials stated that Watson had also claimed on social media to have thrown bricks and doxxed individuals as part of his actions. This case remains active and under investigation by the FBI Atlanta field office.
