The suspect ordered the victim to comply while another individual pointed a second firearm at him. The victim managed to escape through the rear door and immediately contacted law enforcement. Investigators subsequently identified Michael McNeil as a person involved in the incident; McNeil was arrested on August 28 and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and violation of probation. Evidence found during a search of the Hyde Avenue home, along with surveillance footage tracking McCoy’s movements, led investigators to identify him as the primary suspect. An arrest warrant for McCoy was issued on August 30 for armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Additionally, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office notes that McCoy has two other active warrants related to separate cases. As of today, September 9, 2026, McCoy has not been located and remains wanted.
