According to the police report, the suspect’s vehicle was traveling southbound on 12th Avenue SE when it struck the individual riding a scooter. The vehicle sustained front-end damage and possibly a damaged windshield before fleeing the scene. The victim remains in the hospital, and an anonymous family member has requested public assistance in identifying the driver. The family is urging anyone who witnessed the crash or possesses doorbell, security, or dash-cam footage from the area during the relevant time period to come forward.
