New York City police have identified Dominique Heard, 31, as the suspect in the fatal shooting of Jordan Amador at a Brooklyn nightclub more than a year ago. Heard is currently at large and remains wanted by the NYPD. The incident occurred around 3:10 a.m. on February 16, 2025, inside Socialites Lounge, located on Atlantic Avenue near Washington Avenue in the Clinton Hill neighborhood. According to police reports, Amador and Heard were engaged in a physical altercation inside the Afro-Caribbean club when Heard drew a weapon and opened fire. Amador was struck in the chest and was subsequently rushed to Methodist Hospital by medics, where he was pronounced dead. Amador, also 31, resided in East Flatbush. Heard has a significant criminal history in New York City, including seven prior arrests. His most recent arrest was for grand larceny in August 2023, while previous charges have included forgery, possession of a loaded firearm, and robbery.
