Two male suspects wearing face masks attempted to rob a Big Lots store in Clarksville, Tennessee, on Friday night but fled empty-handed after a cashier thwarted their efforts. The suspects approached a register, and when the cashier opened the drawer, one suspect pulled out a gun and attempted to use a hammer to break the register. After failing to seize cash, both suspects fled on foot and were last seen running behind a nearby Dairy Queen. Clarksville Police are seeking the public’s help to identify the suspects and urge anyone with information to contact the department. The suspects remain at large as of the incident’s reporting.
