Danville Police are actively seeking K-Sean La’Darius Royster, a 24-year-old man from Danville, in connection with a shooting incident that injured a one-year-old boy. Royster is wanted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The incident occurred on Monday, September 7, at the Purdum Woods apartment complex. According to police reports, the shooting took place at approximately 1:21 a.m. in the breezeway area of the G building. Investigators state that multiple individuals fired shots toward a group standing in the area, which appeared to be a targeted attack. Gunfire was returned from the G building breezeway before the shooters fled the scene. At the time of the shooting, the victim was being held by her mother. The toddler was transported to a hospital but has since been released and is currently recovering. Authorities continue to search for Royster and are urging the public to assist in locating him. Individuals with information regarding Royster’s whereabouts are asked to contact the Danville Police Department immediately.
