Trenton police are actively searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a burglary at Los Primos Barbershop, located on Woodland Street. The incident occurred early Monday morning, September 14, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m. Surveillance video obtained by NBC10 captures the suspects breaking into the business by smashing the glass front door. One individual is seen forcing entry, followed by a second suspect wearing a hoodie. The footage shows the first suspect searching the cash register and moving from station to station to remove items, while the second individual also grabs merchandise. The owner, Raven Rodriguez, reported that the suspects stole between $3,000 and $4,000 worth of barbershop equipment and caused approximately $1,000 in damage to the property. Rodriguez stated he was at home when notified by police and rushed to the scene to review the video. He noted that he recognized one of the individuals in the footage and believes the crime may have been an inside job. Due to the damage to the entrance, Rodriguez spent the night inside the barbershop for security reasons. He has turned the investigation over to Trenton police and hopes the surveillance footage will assist detectives in identifying and arresting the suspects. Police confirmed they have leads in the case, but the investigation remains ongoing. As of the time of this report, no arrests have been made. Residents with information regarding the identity or location of the suspects are urged to contact the Trenton Police Department. The agency continues to appeal for public assistance in bringing the individuals responsible for this crime to justice.
