Laurel Police are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Tuesday night, September 22, at The Caboose Saloon & Casino located in the 700 block of West Main Street in Laurel, Montana. Officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:20 PM after receiving reports of a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, authorities learned that a male suspect had entered the establishment, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the patrons and staff present. The suspect fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running toward 8th Avenue. No injuries were reported during the incident. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s with a slender build. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a black hoodie, black mask, black pants, and gloves, which significantly hindered identification from surveillance footage. Following the robbery, officers conducted a search of the immediate area but were unable to locate the individual. Laurel Chief of Police Jarred Anglin stated that the business had only a few customers and staff members present at the time. Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the vicinity and believe the suspect may have fled west in a silver passenger car on Old U.S. 10 towards Park City after leaving the scene on foot. The investigation remains active, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward. Authorities are particularly interested in security or surveillance footage that may have captured the suspect, a suspicious person, or a suspicious vehicle in the area around the time of the robbery. The public is asked to contact the Laurel Police Department at 406-628-8737 or reference case number P202600754 with any relevant tips or information.
