Authorities in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, have identified nine individuals connected to an ongoing theft ring, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office. The investigation, which continues to expand, recently focused on two specific men. Anthony Sparks is currently being held in the Cleveland County Jail on multiple charges, including second-degree burglary, engaging in a pattern of criminal offenses, grand larceny, and entering with intent to steal copper. His bond has been set at $150,000. Deputies linked Sparks to a prior burglary incident at a barn in Cleveland County District 1. The second individual identified is Billy Magby, who is currently at large. Magby was identified after his DNA was found on evidence collected during a stolen vehicle investigation. He holds outstanding felony warrants in both Pontotoc County and Pottawatomie County for knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property. Cleveland County Sheriff Darrell Weaver emphasized the pattern of criminal behavior exhibited by these individuals across Cleveland County and neighboring communities. The Sheriff stated that the investigation has uncovered additional connections to multiple property theft crimes and that law enforcement will continue to follow every lead and pursue charges against those responsible. The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division is urging anyone with information regarding Magby's whereabouts or information about any of the nine identified suspects to come forward. Residents are encouraged to contact the division at (405) 701-8642 to provide tips or information that may assist in the ongoing investigation and the apprehension of the remaining suspects.
