The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Tracy Conrad Smith, a man who remains at large after fleeing from deputies earlier this week. Smith was identified as the subject of the department's Warrant Wednesday program. Authorities located him at his last known residence on Badger Street on Thursday morning. Upon the arrival of deputies, Smith fled on foot and successfully evaded capture at that time. During the initial encounter, four individuals residing at the property were detained while law enforcement attempted to locate Smith. Subsequently, detectives obtained a search warrant for the home. The search yielded significant evidence, including drugs, drug paraphernalia, burglary tools, and suspected stolen property. The stolen items recovered include a flatbed trailer, a side-by-side vehicle, and a tractor. Despite these findings, Smith has not been apprehended and is still considered outstanding. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office continues to seek information regarding his current whereabouts. Authorities are urging anyone who sees Smith or has information about his location to contact the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office immediately. The investigation is ongoing as deputies work to locate the wanted suspect and bring him into custody.
