Law enforcement agencies across Franklin County, Maine, are actively searching for 43-year-old Craig Tracy, a wanted suspect with multiple active warrants. The manhunt began on Saturday, September 26, 2026, following a series of criminal incidents in the Jay area. According to police reports, the sequence of events started with reports of burglaries and suspicious individuals along East Jay Road. Officers later located Tracy on Borough Road, where he was observed actively stealing a vehicle. During the encounter, Tracy rammed a Jay Police Department cruiser before fleeing the scene. Following the collision, multiple agencies responded to assist in the search. Authorities quickly located the stolen vehicle, but shortly thereafter, received a report that Tracy had stolen an ATV on Warren Hill Road. Police initiated a pursuit into the CMP power corridor, where the suspect eventually abandoned the ATV. While the ATV was recovered and returned to its owner, Tracy fled on foot and remains at large. A female suspect, 39-year-old Danielle Adams, was subsequently tracked down by a police K-9 team and taken into custody. Adams was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants and charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs. Investigators are also searching for a light blue Audi hatchback connected to the investigation. The vehicle reportedly has visible damage to the front passenger side, which police say may be held on with duct tape, and may have Maine agricultural license plates attached. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Wilton Police Department, and Livermore Falls Police Department assisted Jay police in the ongoing search. Police warn the public not to approach Tracy and to call 911 immediately if he is seen. Anyone with information regarding Tracy’s whereabouts or the location of the damaged Audi hatchback is urged to contact authorities.
