The FBI has added Satinderjeet Singh, also known by the alias Goldy Brar, to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. Singh is currently at large and is considered extremely violent, armed, and dangerous. He is wanted for a series of severe federal violations, including racketeering conspiracy, conspiracy to interfere with commerce by extortion, and conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. According to the FBI, Singh is the alleged leader of the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group, a transnational criminal enterprise active across North America. This group is accused of engaging in a wide range of illicit activities, including shootings, murders, kidnappings, and targeted assassinations of prominent political and religious figures. Singh was charged in federal court in Los Angeles, California, where he is believed to be based. The announcement was made by Patrick Grandy, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI Los Angeles Field Office, who emphasized that apprehending Singh is a top priority. To aid in the capture, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest. This addition marks Singh as the 543rd individual to appear on the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The charges against Singh are part of the broader results of Operation Hardball, an initiative announced in July by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. This operation resulted in the unsealing of three indictments charging 37 defendants connected to India-based transnational organized crime groups. Among the charges detailed in Operation Hardball was the 2023 assassination of a prominent Indian political and religious figure in Canada. While many defendants in that case have been arrested or are in custody, Singh remains at large. The FBI urges anyone with information regarding Singh's location or activities to contact the FBI's toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324). Tips can also be submitted online at tips.fbi.gov or by contacting the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. The FBI plans to publicize Singh's image and description across all affiliated websites and social media platforms to maximize public awareness and assistance in locating him.
