The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is actively seeking the public's assistance in locating and identifying several suspects wanted in connection with multiple criminal incidents within the parish. Authorities have released details regarding three distinct cases, urging anyone with information to come forward. In a narcotics-related investigation that began in late September, detectives are looking for a woman who may possess relevant information. Surveillance images show her wearing a white cast on her right leg and using a crutch for mobility. Another case involves a suspect wanted for burglarizing a business located in the 43000 block of East Pleasant Ridge Road on three separate occasions in March, June, and August of this year. The suspect allegedly cut holes through a back fence to steal cable wire spools worth thousands of dollars. Described as approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build, the individual was seen traveling in a four-door sedan. Additionally, on Thursday, September 17, a man was observed hiding alcohol bottles in his clothing at a convenience store in the 11000 block of Highway 16 in Amite. After a physical confrontation with the clerk, the suspect fled the scene in a gold Chevrolet SUV, likely a Traverse, traveling westbound away from the interstate. Sheriff Gerald Sticker and Retail Crimes Detective Earl McFarland have emphasized the importance of community tips. Individuals with information regarding these suspects or their whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 985-902-2088 or Detective McFarland at 985-514-8181.
