Lincoln Police and Crime Stoppers are actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating suspects involved in multiple property crimes within the Lincoln, Nebraska area. Authorities have released images and details regarding two separate incidents that highlight a pattern of opportunistic theft. The first case involves a package theft that occurred on September 5 in the vicinity of 9th and South streets. A resident reported that a package, which had triggered a delivery notification, was missing from their porch upon their return. Doorbell camera footage captured a suspect taking the package and fleeing the scene. Police are urging residents to remain vigilant as the holiday shopping season approaches, noting that package thefts typically increase during this period due to higher delivery volumes. The second series of incidents involves two suspects and a white Chrysler Town and Country minivan with Utah license plates. On August 18, at a Kohl’s store near South 27th and Yankee Hill, a male and female were observed loading a cart with clothing. When store security intervened, the pair fled the store, threw the merchandise into the waiting minivan, and escaped. A similar incident occurred on September 19 at a Home Depot on South 70th Street, where a witness reported seeing a male run from the store with Milwaukee tools and jump into the side door of the same white minivan. Lincoln Police are asking anyone with information regarding these suspects, the vehicle, or the incidents to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously through the P3 app, by calling 475-3600, or online at LincolnCrimeStoppers.com. The investigation remains active, and authorities emphasize the importance of community cooperation in solving these cases.
