The incident occurred on May 20, 2026, in the parking lot of a Food Lion on Marshal Hall Road in the Bryans Road area of Charles County, Maryland. According to court documents, Alston advertised a pair of Jordan sneakers for sale on Instagram and lured a victim to the location under the guise of a transaction. A license plate check linked the vehicle to a previous traffic stop where Alston was identified as a passenger, corroborating his description which includes a unique freckle under his left eye. The U.S. Marshals Service is urging the public to assist in locating him due to the violent nature of the crime and the danger he poses to the public.
