The Tulsa Police Department is actively searching for two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday evening. The incident took place around 6:19 p.m. on northbound Highway 169, near the 71st Street exit in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Authorities report that the victim was driving a white 2017 RAM Promaster van when it experienced mechanical issues, prompting him to pull over onto the shoulder. As the victim examined his vehicle, a black Dodge Charger with dark window tint pulled up behind him. Two men exited the Charger and approached the victim under the pretense of offering assistance. However, the situation escalated quickly when one suspect reached into the victim's pockets and stole his wallet, which contained cash and debit cards. Simultaneously, the second suspect brandished a knife and cut the victim on the face before both individuals fled the scene. The suspects are described as men in their 30s, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, with medium builds and short dreadlocks. They were wearing black shorts; one suspect wore a white shirt, while the other wore a red shirt. The suspect vehicle, a black Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows and a red tag, was last seen traveling northbound on Highway 169 past the 71st Street exit. Police are urging anyone who was driving on Highway 169 around 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday near the 71st Street exit to review their dashcam footage for any images of the suspect vehicle. Individuals with additional information are asked to contact the Tulsa Police Department or call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS to provide tips that may assist in the ongoing investigation.
