The Federal Bureau of Investigation has increased the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Julious George Khalid to $20,000. Khalid, a 38-year-old Black man, is currently at large and remains a wanted suspect in connection with a violent kidnapping incident that occurred in Atlanta, Georgia. The suspect is described as standing 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities note that Khalid may also be known by the aliases Julious George Robles and Akeem M. Mitchell. The alleged crime took place on August 7 near Panola Road on Interstate 20. According to the FBI, Khalid and an accomplice pretended to be law enforcement officers to stop a victim at gunpoint. During the incident, the group extorted a large amount of money from the victim before releasing them. A federal judge issued an arrest warrant for Khalid on September 18, formally charging him with kidnapping. The FBI has also released new photographs of the suspect vehicle, a white SUV, to assist in the manhunt. Investigators are urging anyone with information regarding Khalid's whereabouts to contact the FBI immediately. Tips can be submitted by calling the FBI’s tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-2255-324) or by submitting information online. This case is considered active, and the reward amount was doubled from the previous $10,000 offer to encourage public assistance in locating the suspect.
