The New York Police Department is actively searching for 31-year-old Angel Carrasco, who is wanted in connection with the death of 23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez and the critical injury of her infant daughter. The incident occurred in the Allerton section of the Bronx at the Allerville Arms apartment building located on Olinville Avenue. Authorities responded to the scene early Tuesday morning around 3:30 a.m. after reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered Ramirez and her eight-month-old daughter outside the building. Police allege that both individuals were pushed from a 15th-floor balcony. Ramirez was transported to Jacobi Hospital but was pronounced dead. Her infant daughter was also rushed to the hospital in a patrol vehicle and remains in critical but stable condition. Investigators believe the baby survived the fall due to the manner in which Ramirez fell, potentially cushioning the impact. Surveillance video captured Carrasco, who is believed to be Ramirez's ex-boyfriend and the child's father, leaving the apartment building prior to the incident. The woman's death is being investigated as a homicide. Sources indicate a documented history of domestic violence at the residence, with police responding to the apartment twice in January. Neighbors reported witnessing disturbances earlier in the year, including an incident where a man attempted to kick down the apartment door. A makeshift memorial with flowers and candles has been established outside the building, where friends and neighbors have gathered to remember Ramirez as a devoted mother and happy individual. No arrests have been announced as the investigation remains ongoing. The NYPD is urging anyone with information regarding Carrasco's location to contact authorities immediately.
