Angel Carrasco, 31, is currently at large and wanted by the NYPD for the alleged murder of 23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez and the wounding of her 8-month-old daughter. The incident occurred just after 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning at an apartment building located at 2550 Olinville Ave. in the Allerton section of the Bronx. According to police, Carrasco shoved Ramirez off a balcony while she was holding her infant child. Ramirez was transported to Jacobi Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her baby was initially listed in critical condition but has since been updated to stable status. Surveillance footage captured approximately 15 minutes after the crime shows a man wearing a hoodie walking away from the scene with his head down. Police have released a wanted flyer featuring photos of Carrasco and have issued a warning to the public that he should be considered armed and dangerous. The NYPD has confirmed that the incident was domestic in nature but has not provided further details regarding the relationship between Carrasco and the victims. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Carrasco's whereabouts to contact the NYPD. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to search for the suspect.
