Authorities are searching for a suspect described as a possibly Black male, standing between five feet six inches and five feet nine inches with a medium build and facial hair. The individual is wanted for a violent assault that left a 35-year-old man with significant head trauma. According to police reports, the victim was bending over around midnight on May 4 when the suspect struck him repeatedly on the head with an object before fleeing the scene. The attack took place near the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Seattle, and the suspect was last seen heading north of Sixth Avenue from Madison Street. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a white bucket hat, a black jacket, black pants, and pink-colored Jordan sneakers. The victim was located on the ground in front of the hotel with serious injuries and required medical attention. The Seattle Police Department Violent Crimes Unit has released new photographs to assist the public in identifying the man. Investigators emphasize that the suspect remains at large and continue to urge anyone with information to come forward.
