The incident occurred around 3:59 a.m. on May 24, 2026, at the Chandlers Bay apartment complex, situated at 8700 S. 235th Pl. in Kent, Washington. Upon arrival, responding officers and medics discovered the victim in the complex parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel immediately administered lifesaving aid and secured the scene, but the man was ultimately pronounced dead at the location. Authorities have confirmed that the suspect remains at large and has not yet been identified.
