The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect believed to be responsible for two separate aggravated assault incidents within Macon, Georgia. The investigations are ongoing, and the individual remains at large. Authorities have released surveillance imagery of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognizes him to come forward with information. The first incident occurred on August 25 at approximately 9:03 p.m. at a Dollar General store located at 1370 Gray Highway. Deputies responded to reports of shots fired inside the establishment. According to investigators, the male suspect fled the scene in a burgundy SUV. No injuries were reported in connection with this specific event. The second incident took place on September 2 at approximately 9:21 p.m. at a Chevron gas station situated at 1106 Rocky Creek Road. During this encounter, the suspect allegedly struck a victim in the face and displayed a firearm before escaping the location in the same burgundy SUV. The victim sustained injuries that were reported as not life-threatening. Investigators have linked both crimes to the same individual based on the vehicle description and the timing of the events. The sheriff’s office has emphasized that the suspect is still at large and poses a potential risk to the community. Residents who may have seen the suspect or the burgundy SUV are encouraged to review the released surveillance image.
