The suspect is described as a thin, middle-aged male with short hair, last seen wearing a sleeveless red Hollister T-shirt and plaid shorts. According to police and project officials, the individual was captured on security camera footage around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27. The video shows the man entering the property on Williams Drive, rifling through a donation cash box, and attempting to access a barn. He ultimately fled the scene heading north on Route 112, carrying six to ten large Rubbermaid totes and several metal weights used for tarps. While no cash was taken, the stolen items are part of a community restoration project funded by local volunteers and donations. Surveillance footage also captured the suspect’s black pickup truck, which features a distinctive cap with two sliding side windows and additional vertical rear windows.
